IDENTITY

G. English Electronics (GELEC) has established its identity as an Importer and Distributor of High Quality Far-Eastern Manufactured Components at low cost for the past 27 years. Originally known for Passive Components, the range of products has expanded and now includes Custom Design Plastic & Rubber Products, Fans, Loudspeakers, Relays, Wound Components and Keyboards, to name but a few.

LOCATION

Our location is Woolwich, South East London, with easy access to motorways, mainline rail communications and Docklands London City Airport. This gives us easy access to a variety of delivery systems for the fastest possible reaction.

In March 2003 GELEC relocated to our Brand New - Purpose Built Headquarters in the Prestigious Royal Arsenal in Woolwich.  This facility is owned by the company and demonstrates our commitment to making investments that will allow us to provide even higher levels of customer service to meet the requirements of our growing customer base.  In addition to this facility we operate 2 additional (10,000 ft²) warehouses in nearby Woolwich and Bexley offering our customers the benefit of multiple stock locations if required.

Speed of response is one of the most important factors in any service industry; with GELEC this is no exception. We have continuously upgraded and developed our Bespoke Computer System with the latest technology. The information that it provides enables us to offer a fast and efficient service and the ability to manage individual supply arrangements and buffer stock levels to meet the needs of our customers.

Our Field Sales Engineers are supported by a team of Sales and Engineering staff who are able to understand the demands of your application and, if required, provide technical advice.

FUTURE

Our business within the electronics and related industries is founded on ability to meet the requirements of our customers. This has meant expanding areas of our existing product range and adopting new product lines.

This web site provides preliminary details of new products and information on existing products where the ranges have expanded, a good example being the new "GM" series of fans from SUNON.

The future will see GELEC as the source for an even greater range of products as we extend our capabilities to meet the ever-growing requirements of the industry.
